[ retour à Bienvenue ]

So by now you’ve almost made the decision to come to the wonderful Phi Phi Islands! But of course most important, what could a day of diving be like. Most fun divers don’t want to spend hours and hours on a boat to reach the dive site and come back just in time to get a shower before going for dinner.

Diving with us is not like that. You’re on holiday and here to enjoy it. You can choose between the local dive trips, the three-dive trip to the King Cruiser wreck between here and Phuket, or if you really want world class five star diving take our ‘Batboat’ speedboat to Hin Daeng and Hin Muang.

Our Local Dive Trip starts at 9 am and you’ll be back at Ton Sai Bay by around about 2.30 p.m. Plenty of time to spend the rest of the afternoon on the beach. This is also the trip we use for Scuba Review, Introduction courses and the PADI Open Water course.

The longer trip with the possibility to do three dives starts off at 8 am to the King Cruiser wreck, Anemone Reef and Shark Point. Return time is between 4 pm and 5 pm.

Our fabulous Batman speedboat needs only about an hour to reach two of Thailand’s best diving sites. The Hin Daeng and Hin Muang trip leaves at 8.30 am returning at about 3.30 pm.

Whatever trip you decide to do, you will find all the equipment already on the boat when you arrive in the morning. If you decide to rent our equipment Phi Phi Scuba Diving staff will even rig it up for you and clean it after the days diving is over All the boats have plenty of drinking water on board as well as snacks and tropical fruits. All free of further charge.

Our teams are deliberately kept small so you can be assured of the Divemasters individual attention at all times. On the local dive and King Cruiser trip no more than two Buddy-Teams will be behind the Divemaster (maximum five divers) and on the Hin Daeng trip because of less space a maximum of three teams. (Also visibility there is mostly much more than 20 meters!).

All dives are strictly no-decompression dives. We try to keep you as long as possible under water. Generally if air consumption of the divers permits, we aim for 60-minute dives plus a 3-minute safety stop. The surface interval between dives is between 90 minutes and 2 hours. On the local dive we normally go into a protected bay to have lunch where you can go snorkeling or swimming or just sunbathe on deck.

The other thing we don’t do at Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center is to wait till the boat is full before confirming the trip is on. There is no minimum on the local dive trip and only a minimum of three divers for the other two trips.
