Once you arrive on Phi Phi Island your first walk down the main street will show you what the island has to offer. Lots of restaurants, shops and quite a few dive-shops. You wont have to look far to find the Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center though. Our bright yellow shop (like our boats) is the largest diving center on the island and is located right in the middle of the main walkway. Established in 1989 and under Swiss management.
This is where divers meet early mornings before going diving and again to complete their logbooks when they come back. And in the evenings deciding where to go the next day or just having a cup of free tea or coffee and a chat.
You will always find lots of nice people around the shop. But that’s not all. Look inside at our rental gear. Regulators from U.S. Divers, BCD´s from Seaquest, 40 sets of U.S. Divers masks and Seascub fins small enough and large enough to fit almost anyone!
Our Lenhard & Wagner 450 E S compressor takes care of filling our some 120 Luxfer tanks. We regularly service and renew our equipment so you can be confident you’re getting the best and safest gear around!
But even if you’re bringing all your own with you you can leave it with us whilst you’re here. Even the carrying of the gear and tanks to the boat and back is taken care of by our staff. (You do have to do the diving yourself!)
Underwater we all speak the same language, but on land you want to feel understood. Our multi-lingual International staff is very rarely lost for words in the right language! Our flags on the homepage show only a few but most of the time we have even more languages to offer.
Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center is a member of PIRA (PADI International Resort Association). This means we meet and exceed the high PADI quality and safety standards. We focus on safe diving practices, first aid and safety equipment on all dives and trained, reliable staff who make you feel comfortable and safe at all times.
NEW: Of course, focusing on safe diving it’s very unlikely to come into a critical situation —but if so, Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center is also an affiliated member of HST – Hyperbaric Services Thailand who operate the Phuket Re-Compression Chamber. Our Staff have attended dive accident management training courses and the majority are qualified DAN 02 providers. Early recognition and treatment of diving accidents is therefore guaranteed. Our boats are also equipped with radio communication and emergency channel access. We help to make Thailand a safer place to dive!
We are the only center on Phi Phi with 3 dive boats to choose from. One for the local dives, one for daily trips to Shark Point, Anemone Reef and the King Cruiser wreck (Thanapon and Aquatic), and our speedboat (Batboat) to take you down to Hin Daeng and Hin Muang in just over an hour.
